# Seekprotocol

> Seekprotocol anchors digital assets to real-world coordinates. A publisher

The distinguishing claim is proof of location: presence is checked against
four independent signals (satellite fix, ambient radio environment, device
attestation and motion trace) so that a claim costs more to forge than the
reward is worth. The protocol does not assert forgery is impossible, and the
whitepaper documents the attacks and the limits.

The site is served at 9 locales under a path prefix (en, nl, de, es, fr, zh, ja, ko, tr).
Every page is translated into all 9. The articles are English only and
canonicalise to their /en URL. This file describes the English site.

The consumer app was named SeekAR from launch through August 2026 and is now
named Seekprotocol, the same product, the same publisher (Block Protocol
L.L.C-FZ, Dubai, UAE), the same App Store listing (apps.apple.com/app/id6752813761)
and the same Play Store package (com.seekar.seekar). The rename is dated
10 August 2026 and is explained at https://www.seekprotocol.ai/en/blog/seekar-is-now-seekprotocol.

The name is ambiguous in the wild: unrelated products, artists and places
also use "Seekar" or "SeekAR", including a separate AR scavenger-hunt
platform at seekar.io, an unrelated Android app published by Nexrage
(com.nexrage.seekar), a music artist, and a mountain and ski lift in
Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria. This site documents specifically the
AR consumer app for on-chain crypto rewards published by Block Protocol
L.L.C-FZ (currently settling on Solana, multi-chain by design); it is
that app which was previously named SeekAR and is now named Seekprotocol.

## Who takes part

- **Seekers** (Demand): People who go and get it. Anyone with the app. They walk, they find things, and they keep what they collect. No prior crypto knowledge is assumed: the wallet is created from a social login and can be exported later by anyone who wants custody.
- **Publishers** (Supply): Whoever put it there. Brands, venues, token projects and event organisers. They place assets at coordinates they care about and pay per placement, weighted by radius, duration and how contested the area is.
- **Protocol** (Settlement): The part that keeps them honest. Verification scoring, asset custody and settlement. It takes a fee on placement, routes the majority of it back to seekers, and holds the record of what was claimed where.

## What the protocol provides

- **Geofenced placement**: Assets are pinned to coordinates with a configurable claim radius. A shop doorway uses a tight radius; a festival ground uses a wide one.
- **Multi-signal verification**: Satellite fix, ambient radio, device attestation and motion continuity all have to agree before a claim is accepted.
- **AR anchoring**: Assets stay put between sessions and between users. Two people standing in the same place see the same thing in the same spot.
- **AI companion**: Reads the camera to explain what you are looking at and suggest where to go next, without shipping your movement history anywhere.
- **Social wallet**: Created from a social login so a first-time user can collect something within a minute, with self-custody export available whenever they want it.
- **Multi-chain settlement**: An asset settles on the network it already lives on, against one requirement that every chain has to meet: picking up a small reward must not cost more than the reward is worth.

## Roadmap

- **Foundation** (2024 to Q1 2025, shipped): Proving the core idea worked at all: could a phone confirm someone was somewhere, reliably enough to release something of value?
- **Public launch** (Q2 to Q4 2025, shipped): Getting Seekprotocol into real hands, on both app stores, with an onboarding flow that does not assume the user has ever held a private key.
- **Opening it up** (2026, in progress): The year the network stops being ours to fill. Anyone can place assets without talking to us first, the token that funds them goes public, and the reasons to come back stop being things you do alone.
- **Handing over the parameters** (2027 and beyond, planned): Governance follows real fee flow rather than preceding it. Voting on an economy with no volume is theatre, so this comes last on purpose.

## Common questions

- **Can I fake my location to collect without going there?**
  Not cheaply. A raw GPS fix is easy to spoof, which is why it is only one of four signals. The ambient radio environment, device attestation and your motion trace all have to corroborate it, and a device that fails repeatedly faces a higher threshold. The aim is to make forgery cost more than the reward is worth, not to claim it is impossible.
- **Do I need to know anything about crypto to use Seekprotocol?**
  No. The wallet is created from a social login and you never see a seed phrase unless you go looking for one. If you later want self-custody, you can export the key at any point.
- **Is Seekprotocol tracking where I go?**
  No. The app asks for a position when you attempt a claim, not continuously in the background. Raw sensor data is used to score that one claim and then discarded, and your movement history stays on your device.
- **What stops one person farming a location with many wallets?**
  Per-device claim limits within a radius and time window, plus device attestation that emulator farms fail. Wallets are free but travel is not, which is the point of anchoring distribution to geography in the first place.
- **Which chain does Seekprotocol run on?**
  Whichever one the asset lives on. Networks are rows in a table rather than code, so a publisher funds a campaign in the token they already hold and a seeker never has to pick a chain. What every network has to meet is the same requirement: a reward worth a few cents has to survive being moved, and someone standing on a street corner should not have to wait for it. The strip on the homepage says which chains settle today.
- **Does a reward have to be crypto?**
  No. A voucher redeemed at a till, a pair of trainers in a box, a pass that only exists at the venue: none of that touches a chain, and the verification underneath is identical either way. Where a token is involved it settles on the chain it already lives on. The protocol proves somebody was there; what they are given is your decision.
- **Can my business place assets today?**
  Through a managed partnership, yes. The self-serve portal that removes the conversation with us is in progress, and the roadmap says where it sits.
